1. Where IS my shop?
You uploaded your files to someplace like /home/myname/public_html/zencart
Thus, the URL to view your site would be: www.mydomain.com/zencart
The Admin URL would be: www.mydomain.com/zencart/admin
To edit the files on your PC for customizing, you will need a text editor. A good free one with syntax highlighting is Crimson Editor or Notepad++.
The FAQ articles on customizing will help you determine which files to change. Then you'll need to upload them to your site for changes to take effect.
2. After installation, you'll want to address several ADMINISTRATIVE things to get your basic shop operational.

One suggested order of operations is the following:

Note that to enable a language requires that you upload the language-pack to your webspace.
Be sure that the language pack you load is suitable for the Version of Zen Cart you're running.
Now that you've done basic setup, you can enter your categories and products

-- Add new categories to hold your products
-- Add new products within relevant categories
- if you have multiple languages defined, you'll be able to enter product names and descriptions in various languages.
- To add images, click on the Browse button beside the category/product image field, and select the file on your PC.
- Then choose the "upload to directory" folder to store the image in on your server.
(If the folder you wish to use isn't there, you'll need to go and create it with your FTP program)
- The Products URL is an external link where the customer can go to see more information about this product. If it's a link to an HTML page on your site, enter the full URL to that page.
