E-mail on page not found (404) error

If you're tired of searching your Apache logs for page-not-found (404) errors, this contribution will generate an e-mail to the address of your choice when your page_not_found page executes. One file to edit (to specify your email address); two new files with no core-file overwrites. |

Get REQUEST_URI from $_SERVER instead of $_ENV; $_ENV is not available in some configurations and $_SERVER is and has the same information. Fixed problem when a test-user account email address using HTML emails is the same as the email address to which the 404-error emails are to be sent. Corrected typo that resulted in emails always being archived. |
