Admin login as customer

This module is for logging in and placing an order as a customer. It is extremely handy if you process phone orders as well as internet orders. It allows you to login to your admin interface look up a customer and click an button "Place Order" button and it automatically opens a new browser window to the front side of your side with the customer logged in so you may take their order. NOTE: This module relies on the Master Password contribution, which is included. BE SURE to install it according to instructions, INCLUDING running the .SQL script. Otherwise anyone will be able to log in to your customer accounts without restriction. |

This new version includes both 1.3.7 and 1.3.8 support. It also now uses the language files in place of static content and auto detects weither or not SSL is enabled. All data will be securely passed over SSL if you have it configured. This version includes both a ZenCart 1.3.7 & 1.3.8a version. Both come in two flavors. SSL or NON-SSL. I plan to slim this down and have it auto detect if you are using SSL or NOT, but for now I have the seperate versions available. I plan to have a 1.3.8a Demo Site up for both SSL and Non-SSL within the next few days. You can check the 1.3.7 demo site at http://www.vmitek.com/zencart/ as I will post links when they are up. This version includes a nonSSL and an SSL verion. The SSl version fixes the previous SSl issues and forces all logins to use SSL. All information will be passed over SSL and be secure. I also changed how the login as the customer takes place. You know see all the information about the user you are going to be logged in as. They you can choose to proceed or cancel. This is usefull if you have multiple customers with the same name. This version allows for SSL support if you are loggin in to your admin are using SSL. No information is being passed throught he http headers. Make sure you habe your zen admin set to use SSL. MODERATOR NOTE: While the contribution attempts to insulate against SSL issues, data is still passed in clear text, and logins as the customer are in non-SSL mode. |
