A simple Buy one get on free module. Simply Go to your admin--_categories/products/--_ find a product you want to put on this special and click to edit it. scroll to the very bottom of the page and you will see a field to put in buy x amount and get x amount free. Just enter in your needs and you are done. You can also associate a coupon with it(this simply makes it to where when you choose a coupon to use with this mod that customers must have the coupon code to even see the bogo special) if you leave it set to none when you are editing your products then all customers can get the special. some core files are affected, so make sure to back up before you try to install this and I recommend you use a comparison tool for any files that are template specific so that you can keep your customizations.
