Hello,

First of all, I have never used Zen Cart before. This is my first web store and after some searching decided Zen Cart had all the features I needed. I completed a fresh install today on my store. After setting up a few basic settings, I added an item then proceeded to test the item by going to my store and attempting purchase. I downloaded my version from Zen Cart and it is V1.50. When I added the 1 item I created to my cart, I then proceeded to check out. I created a new account and after entering all the data and pressing enter, it just reloaded the page. I verified on my admin that my customer account had been created, and then tried to log in on the checkout page. Again it just reloaded the page. No errors. The admin shows me logging in a total of four times, but it doesn't proceed past that point. I have no add-ons installed, and I assume I am missing something in the configuration with regard to the shopping cart. Any help would be appreciated. I searched the forums, but couldn't find an answer.

Good afternoon everyone. May I ask for some help? I am slowly getting to understand the practical aspects of Zen Cart, but I would like to also be able to understand php coding. Over the years I have found that a combination of text books and practical examples is the best way forward in tackling the ‘steep curve’ for me. I would very much like to do the following:

Using a Local Host setup:

1.	Create a file (i.e. MyStore_variables) for storing variables.
2.	Construct a piece of code which I can embed into any ZC program of interest.
3.	Collect the contents of the variables in the program of interest, as the program runs.
4.	Store these variables into the file MyStore and save in the ZC file structure.

Is there anyone who could provide a solution? I do not want a full blown program just the basics and that in itself would help with php learning.

Back in BASIC days I could STOP, HALT or PAUSE a program and type in the variable name(s), which would then appear on the VDU or be sent to a printer.

Many thanks for any help.

Hi .. I have installed ZC onto my pc to run my webpage from a pc I want to use as a desktop server. This is my first installation and the first time doing the installation .. Every thing is working fine if I run ZC direct from the server PC itself. But if I run ZC from one of the other pc's on the same router/hub (internal) the shopping page is all messed up. No photos and no links working .. Even running it directly from the ouside (external) on the domain name or ext-ip address the problem stays the same .. I have install my ZC (zen-cart-v1.5.1-full-fileset-09182012) to dir c:/xammp/htdocs/zen through XAMPP
Please advice ..
ZC Version = v1.5.1 .. no upgrades and installed through the install file via XAMMP.
PHP Version 5.4.7
MySQL Version 127.0.0.1
I do not have a permanent ip or domain address yet but the external ip at this moment is 196.215.74.52 .. That will direct you to 196.215.74.52/zen.
Screenshot in-case the router reset.
