Hello All,

I'm new to Zen Cart and looking into it's features.

My website is in develoopment now and I will be using 2checkout.com for the processing of orders. I'm attempting to find out if Zen Cart, will allow me to easily process reoccuring orders without the user having to re-enter their credit card information again. In other words, after making an initial order, if this user returns to make another order for the same product, I would like them to not have to re-enter their credit card information all over again. Does Zen Cart have funtionality to pass the proper parameters to 2checkout.com so that 2checkout.com can lookup their previous order and fill in automatically account details so that the user does not have to do that all over again?

I've already spoken to 2checkout.com and they say this is a zen cart issue. So before I devote a lot of time and brain cells to configuring Zen Cart, I'm curious if Zen Cart has this ability.

Thank you all in advance.

Hi,

I noticed that billing and shipping addresses are considered a mismatch even when the difference is only in word capitalization or abbreviations vs spelled out words (e.g., st vs street). Is there a way to tell the system to ignore such differences?

Thanks,

Hi,

Previously I noticed the problem described below with cash on delivery payment method, and today again while testing PayPal Express checkout (by customers with and w/o PayPal account). I was able to place and pay for the orders using credit cards, but with the following hiccups:

1. When I was taken back to the store's website (/index.php?main_page=checkout_process) after paying for each order on paypal.com, all I saw was a blank page with only the following error message displayed on it:
Array ( [0] => This transaction has already been captured (OrderID : ##) )

2. The purchased products remained in the customers' shopping carts as if never checked out.

At the same time, an IPN log was generated successfully for each order (no error logs); both store owner and customer received order confirmation emails; the orders show up both in store's admin and customers' order history AND the store's PayPal account and customers' credit card accounts; and the product inventory amount was adjusted after each order. So...the orders went through, but if customers don't check their emails right away, they will think they didn't.

What could be causing this odd behavior, and how do I fix it?

Just in case this matters, here's the slew of plugins I have installed to date - both Zen Cart (1.5.1) and the plugins are first-time installs, no upgrades:
When we try to create an account, we receive an error in Mozilla that reads:
"Our system already has a record of that email address - please try logging in with that email address. If you do not use that address any longer you can correct it in the My Account area."

In Chrome the error reads:
"The webpage at https://www.artsysupplies.com/index....8843d0931a0807 might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address."

Hosting checked SSL and all is good there, contacted PicaFlor Azul and she was not able to help either...if anyone has any thoughts or ideas on what I can check to get this taken care of, it would be appreciated.

Love Zen Cart. Everything works great except this, kind of big, problem.
We could really use some help determining the cause of random, duplicate orders.
I have installed a few Zen Cart stores and this is the only one that has the problem.
This store is different in that it receives a lot of traffic compared to the others. And there are some different modules installed.

ZC: 1.5.1
Upgraded: from 1.3.9h to 1.5.1 on April 9 in hopes that it would solve the duplicate orders problem.
PHP: 5.2.17
Host: 1and1
Mods:

ceon adv shipper 5.x

ceon manual card

image handler 4

column layout grid

edit orders 4.0.4

Zen Lightbox 1.6.3

Minimum Order

Performed Manual Install via Filezilla
We don't use paypal or any other type of processing than listed above.

I have read through this thread http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...-Confirmation/ and it sounds like the same problem except our problem is also with 1.5.1

This is what happens:
Maybe 5 times a month roughly an order is duplicated at the time of purchase or a few seconds after, or a few minutes after.
The customer is only charged once.
The customer receives a notification on the second order.
Same order number on duplicate.

Suspicion:
possibly host processing lag is causing it
1and1 seemed to have slow processing time on their secure server. I contacted them. They confirmed that they were dealing with some issues. I asked them if the duplicates could be attributed to it but they said no.

Can someone tell me the best way to analyze what is happening?
I need something like the error log that is built into ZC.
However there are no errors in that log resulting from the duplicates.

Is anyone else from the thread link above still having issues?

I have used your code but changed the file names, name of the class/object, changed the email address variable, and deleted the email address lookup function and call as it is not needed for this application. The errors did not occur until the above code was installed.
Thanks for any help you can provide,

I have a customer that I want to give free access to all downloads. I created a group with 100% discount. But when she checks out, it sets her order to "pending". Is there a way to make this order "delivered" so I don't have to authorize it every time she orders?

I sell cross stitch supplies and some designers have series that release at specific times, so I have "auto ship" capability for people who want to get the entire series. I do auto ship orders on the 10th, 20th and 30th of each month, so that means I have quite a few orders on each of those days. I'm looking for a plug-in that will allow me to aggregate all those orders together and make one shipping/warehouse pull-list for all of them.

For example, customer A wants one of X, one of Y and two of Z; customer B wants two of X one of Y and two of Z; and customer C wants one of X one of Y and one of Z. I want the capability of making a pull list that says I need four of X, three of Y and five of Z. Does something like this already exist?
