SimpleScripts update?

Hey all,

I have hostmonster as a hosting company. When i logged in this morning they notified me that i need to upgrade my current version of Zencart to 1.3.8.1.sp1??

Upgrade an Installation
Please read over the below notes to make sure you know what to expect. Choose the appropriate version and click the "Upgrade Now" button to begin.
Deactivate any special plugins or modules. Some plugins and modules can interfere with the upgrade script, causing the operation to fail.
We may have to regenerate your configuration files from scratch, which may remove some of your customizations. After the upgrade, go through your site and make sure everything works properly.
If things don't turn out the way you like, there is a one-touch restore! However, we will only create a barebones backup of any files that will be affected in case you need to roll back any changes made. This DOES NOT substitute for a full backup, and we highly recommend performing a full backup of your own prior to upgrading below.

What is this? I searched around here and i dont see anyone saying anything about this. They say it may "rebuild" my entire site and things may not work afterwards? What i am wondering about is how long does this take? Should i take my site down while its being done? Is this something that Zencart team of devs is doing?

OK...

I just got off the phone with Hostmonster and they stated it was a "zencart" specific update and that their the ones that initiated this update?

So i guess my question remains...am i the only one curious about this? It states that there is a possibility that my modules may not work after this upgrade. So if [i]my[i] site seems to be one of the only ones affected and things do break...How am i supposed to fix it if nobody else knows what I am talking about??

The 1.3.8.1.sp1 update on the SimpleScripts side is a combination of all the patches released by ZenCart for the 1.3.8 branch up to this point.

If anything breaks during the upgrade (which should take perhaps a second or two to apply) there is a one-click restore feature for any files SimpleScripts changed during the upgrade, and you'll want to go over the patches in more detail if that happens. Most of them are one line fixes, but very necessary for the security of your site.
