Custom price setting

Hi every one!!!
I add an extra field for the product, table with me field name is the box size, it working fine now, but now I have a problem , I want some calculation on the product filed, and after give some value by the user it done some calculation ,that give me a new price for that product, now I want that zencart will accept my this new calculated price and passed to add to cart, but it not working as it every time accept there prevoise price, so my question is that, did any one give me an idea , that variable is used for price, and my updated file name is product
-info_display.php , or give me any clue for this position
