Default Is godaddy slow

Hi, I have experienced some slow loading times with my site Gadgetblvd.com and don't know if it is my site or godaddy. I also have had some email problems with godaddy and zencart. zencart sends out the email but I sometimes never receive the email. I need some peoples opinions on this and if it would be worth it to switch hosting companies.

If you are hosted with goDaddy ~ slow is the norm! Get used to it or let them talk you into a Virtual Dedicated for $400/year more!

My pages were taking up to 15 seconds to load, but on my new server load times dropped to 0.135 for the SAME website!

I also had GoDaddy but even after talking with them their hosting was terribly slow. Trying to even login in to my own hosting control panel on GoDaddy would fail fairly often.

I found a way to find out how many sites were hosted on the ip assigned to me and when I found out there were something like 3700 other sites I started looking for a different hosting provider.

I'd chalk up the GoDaddy experience to learning and move somewhere else.

Thanks for your email. I responded, to try and switch shared serves and hopefully that will take care of the issue.

Hope you didn't give them more money - I was having problems, and I started calling them up and grouching. And I don't get -great- load speeds, but they're semi-consistently okay.

When you call them, and let them know that you don't appreciate being on the same server/trunk as www.buffysfree####pillowfightparty.com, they tend to fix things rather rapidly...
