Default download direcetory versus installation directories

    hello,

In the download of v1.3.6, all files are in 1 big directory yet the installation instructions reference an "includes/dist_configure.php" and an "admin/includes/dist_configure.php" !?!

What files belong in which directories!?!

The instructions further reference these directories
    • /cache
    • /images
    • /includes/languages/english/html_includes
    • /media
    • /pub
    • /admin/backups
    • /admin/images/graphs
Where are these directories found in the download and again, what files belong in each!?!

    Thanks,
    Al Toman

The ZIP file you downloaded from our downloads site has all the directories embedded within it.
When you unzip it, you'll need to tell your unzip program to retain the directory structure when extracting its contents.

    Thanks Doc,

I just discovered that my WinZip auto-blows it all into one single directory whereas EnZip retains the directory structure. I am currently uploading them properly now.

I appreciate the response. So far, doing good.

    thanks again,

WinZip has a checkbox "Use Folder Names" which tells it to retain the folder structure when extracting. If you don't have it checked, it'll put everything in one folder.
