Attribute is showing incremental price, not total price
I can't help but think I'm overlooking something obvious (or that the answer is already posted here), so apologies if either of those is the case....
I have a product available in two sizes, standard and large.
Product is defined with price of $30.00
Attribute Size Standard is +$0.00
Attribute Size Large is +$13.00
I want the attribute prices to show:
Standard: $30.00
Large: $43.00
Instead they show the incremental price, blank for Standard and +13.00 for Large. Product "Priced by Attributes" is set to Yes. I thought that should cause total price to be shown, not incremental. :frusty:

Re: Attribute is showing incremental price, not total price
OK - went through it again really slowly this time - got it to work. Not sure everything that went wrong in my previous attempts, but the last time through found I was editing the attribute I wanted, but not for the product I wanted  Works great if you edit the right thing! :lookaroun
Re: Attribute is showing incremental price, not total price
Thanks for the update and glad that you have this working properly now ...
Re: Attribute is showing incremental price, not total price
I suspect the issue (when it is causing trouble) is the + at the far left under prices and weights in the attribute controller.
To display a price rather than an increment for an attribute value:
1) remove the plus sign under prices and weights (leave the field blank)
2) enter the total price in the price column
3) leave all others blank.

Re: Attribute is showing incremental price, not total price
The + is not causing the problem; + and blank are both treated the same by the system. The trick is using the whole price for the attribute, and having a zero price for the base product. Removing the + is cosmetic, making the display read correctly, like ($1.49) instead of (+$1.49).
Re: Attribute is showing incremental price, not total price
Can someone help me with this, say I have a product and it has 3 atttributes, width, length and height; I want to set the price based on the combination of the three rather than individually setting prices for each attribute. Is it possible? Please help me out real quick guys....
Re: Attribute is showing incremental price, not total price
The short answer is that it's not possible.
What you want is a variation on dependent attributes, where the value of one attribute depends on the value of a previous one.
You would have to write some serious custom code to get this.
