how to put same second item into a discount?
Hello. I am running upgraded from 1.3.9h to 1.5.0 zen-cart.
we have a product that is let say $17.95 . Is where a way to show this same item at $0.15, if customer placed 2 of this items into a cart , so one would show as 17.95 and the other as 0.15.
I tried simple BOGO module from numinix, but it showing this as a discount at the checkout (-17.95), while i need it to show what the actual price of this second item was. Is that possible?
Re: how to put same second item into a discount?
I will try to explain the problem better. i understand that there are variety of ways to do this, including adding the additional item from attributes, or adding a quantity discounts, or via coupon code, or via bogo addon, but the problem is in the way it is showing up in order total, and in the way it is being imported into quickbooks correctly.
this is what i need to show on order and to import:
qty item name unit
1 item A 17.95
1 item A 0.15 (can happen only if 1st item A is added)
total................................
2 item A 18.10
Any ideas, guys?

This is not how Zen Cart discounts are generally built.

the kind i am asking about would not show up on invoice as a Discount ( -$some dollar amount at order total). deducted discounts will not work for what we need.
The one i need would show up as Item sale at it regular price and Same item Sale at some symbolic minimum price which is possible only if you have placed first one to purchase.
non of modules i know do that.

I get what you're asking. What I'm telling you is that it's not available.
