USPS - at Checkout, shipping option for "Standard" is followed by gibberish
I'm using zencart, with a Web Tools API for USPS shipping.
When I go to checkout, I get the following "gibberish" at the end of the Standard Mail option:
Attachment 12835
Does anyone know what's causing this or how I can fix it? From what I can tell, this IS the correct standard shipping cost (it's only sometimes cheaper than priority)
Re: At Checkout, shipping option for "Standard" is followed by gibberish
First, please verify which USPS July 28, 2013 version is load, it should be J5 from:
http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1292
Go to your Zen Cart Admin and go to Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ...
In the bottom input box enter:
usps.php
Then, select Catalog ... click SEARCH ...
What comes up on the line for:
Code:
* @version $Id: usps.php
What Zen Cart version are you using?
Re: At Checkout, shipping option for "Standard" is followed by gibberish
I know this is someone else's thread and sorry for Hijacking. I am having the same issue and little bit more. So I do see the giberish characters, but more than that, when I try to select Standard Post, I cannot even do that. It switches back to Express Post and of course customers are complaining about that.
I am running the latest version of ZenCart, i.e. 1.5.1 and I got the latest USPS module installed with no customization.
Line #9 : * @version $Id: usps.php 18348F 2012-01-22 01:22:00Z ajeh $
and gibberish text is "Standard Post®"
Any ideas?

You are not using the current USPS July 28, 2013 J5 shipping module ...

Re: At Checkout, shipping option for "Standard" is followed by gibberish
You are correct sir. Even though I downloaded the latest, i copied the files in the wrong directory. Moved them to the correct directory and its all working smoothly now.
Thanks a bunch.
