Be sure to tell the Beanstream people that Zen Cart sent you! This benefits the project.
Re: INTERAC by Beanstream Support Thread
I signed up yesterday, they auto emailed me a pdf form that I am supposed to sign and fax in. The only thing is, the form does not work! It has been slightly over a day since I contacted their support and applications email addresses and still no reply. Hmm... poor customer service response time.
Re: INTERAC by Beanstream Support Thread
I recommend telephoning them for best response time: (250)472-2326
Re: INTERAC by Beanstream Support Thread
Alright, Great module can't wait to try it out! I have been waiting for this for so long.
Re: INTERAC by Beanstream Support Thread
Right on !!!! A module I have been waiting for a long time !!!
Re: INTERAC by Beanstream Support Thread
I have successfully installed and tested the Interac module- which is absolutely fabulous by the way!
I have been waiting to go Live with Beanstream and noticed in one of their Interac Integration manuals that one of the requirements is the ability to print the confirmation page. I don't see a print button anywhere on the confirmation page. Could you tell me how I would go about adding a print button to the confirmation page?
Thanks!
Crystal
Re: INTERAC by Beanstream Support Thread
You're saying that the user can't use the CTRL+P keystroke, or can't click the "print" icon in the browser, or can't choose "File->Print" from the browser menu?
Re: INTERAC by Beanstream Support Thread
Yes they can print from the browser or the file ->print command. Is there not a way to add a print button to the actual confirmation page?
Re: INTERAC by Beanstream Support Thread
Yes - you could use javascript print and attach it to a button if you wish.
But I think that what Dr. Byte is saying is that it may be overkill.
Re: INTERAC by Beanstream Support Thread
Thanks for the info about the javascript button - that idea hadn't crossed my mind.
I have another question to ask about this module since getting more info back from Beanstream today and I hope this is the right place to ask this question.
First - here are the details about my ZenCart installation:
* What version of Zen Cart are you using? Zen Cart 1.3.8a
* Has your site been upgraded? When? From what version(s)? No
* What addons have you installed? When? Cartage Component - Version 1.0 -same day I installed ZenCart
* In what ways is your site customized or different from a brand new uncustomized install?I am running my ZenCart inside my Joomla based website. I am using Cartage (and their template) to do that inside Joomla v1.5.11
* If you're encountering display/layout problems, post your site URL* so it can be seen in action. https://www.f i r e a n d f u e l .c...s-counter.html
This is what I got told by Beanstream today: "While I was going through the interact transaction I noticed you are loading the banks site in a frame within the website. This is allowed however once you go live you will be loading the entire banks website within your frame. I would recommend either adding scroll bars to the frame or having a separate pop-up page where they would go through the interact process and when they finish it would close and redirect to your page."
I would like to have the bank's site pop-out. But I have no idea how to add that command. Would that be inside tour Interac module?? If so, what file would I put that in? Or is this a ZenCart payment page thing or perhaps a Cartage issue?
Thanks for helping this non-programmer out!
