Multi-zone, multi-ship-type

I didn't see quite what I want, but I'm new here, so I thought I'd ask for some confirmation that I'm heading in the right direction.

What I want is to let my buyers choose from different shipping types, like Standard, 2nd Day, and Overnight. These buyers will be from 3 or 4 zones in the continental-US, plus a zone for Canada, plus a zone for Hawaii/Alaska. I haven't seen a module that does that, so please let me know if there is.

The closest seems to the 'Zones Table Rate Shipping Module' which would do multiple zones for a shipping type, and then I'd "clone" it myself (I think that's the right term) for each type I want. Does that sound right?

that sounds good to me. we don't use table rate though, so that's all i'm not sure about. but we took the flat rate option and cloned it to come up with multiple delivery options.
