Removing Language and Currencies
Hello,
Need a little help from the Zen community. I am NOT an experienced coder. I can tinker and follow directions, but that's about it. :blink:
I have started a new site: http://www.softballdreamz.com and I would like to do three things:
1. Remove the Language and Currencies from the top of the page.
2. Possibly slightly increase the telephone number and email size at the top of the page.
3. Slightly increase the width allowed for a logo. I believe it is at 227px and would like to use some of the space from where the Language and Currencies were.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Vern
Re: Removing Language and Currencies
That looks like a commercial template. Have you asked the folks you bought it from for assistance?
If they won't help, you'll need to get the Firefox browser and the Web Developer plugin for Firefox. That will let you examine the page elements to see what you need to change in the stylesheet.
Unfortunately, your template designers chose not to give the language and currency sections their own class names, so you'll probably have to find and remove them in the code rather than the stylesheet. Try using the Admin - Tools - Developers Tool Kit to search for those two words to start.
Once those are gone, you can add this to the stylesheet: .txt_content {font-size: 1.4em;}

Where *did* you get this template? It appears to be based on an extremely old version of Zen Cart, like v1.2.x from 2006 or earlier. Zen Cart has not been fundamentally laid out using tables since that era. This would indicate that what you have is not only old but insecure and vulnerable to hacking. You really need to base your site on modern code (v1.5.1) that will keep you and your customers safe.
