Is that possible to set deferent products by zones as I have few branches for my store around deferent cities, regions within the same country! In other word, if it’s possible to have dropdown list in home page with all zones and whenever a specific zone selected it shows all the products within that zone only! Is that possible or if there are better ways to do that, any ideas will be appreciated.

This is not something built into Zen Cart ...
It would take quite a bit of customization but you could customize the code to track what zone a product is available for but it would require quite a bit of work depending on what all you want to happen concerning the zone ...
Thanks Ajeh for your replay. regarding this matter, I think the customization would be in the add product pages, A dropdown box for all zones or check boxes for multi choices to specify the zones for each produce, that would do the job, Does that make sense ?:smartalec:
You would also need to consider what to do when a customer is not logged in and then logs in and has products in the cart that do not sell in their zone ... :unsure:
That's a good point too, Ajeh, but unfortunately I'm not a PHP programmer, So I hope that someone will take over the hard job :wink:
What you are asking for is not a simple couple three lines of code ...
You would really need quite a bit of custom coding for this and may wish to post in the Commercial Help wanted for a coder to give you a quote on writing this for you ...
One option could be to COPY the "Manufacturers" files and rename them to "Regions" or something... (I'm not sure what these files are...) Then the files would need to be added to the file that "Calls" on the "Manufacturers" files... Developer's toolkit comes in handy!!!Quote:
