Re: Implementing 3D Secure (Cardinal) using WPP (UK)
Digressing into the pros and cons of PayPal Website Pro and the "empty box" scam has taken us off topic quite considerably. However, as you started this discussion Calljj, it kinda gives you that privilege. There's a very helpful article here: http://www.ewebsecure.com/fraud-empty-box.php
I for one will be following their advice.
Re: Implementing 3D Secure (Cardinal) using WPP (UK)
Is there any more news on the development of the paypal pro module to use 3DSecure? The original date given by Paypal was January but they have moved this forward and it is required NOW....
Thanks
Tony

Is their anymore updates on this??
Re: Implementing 3D Secure (Cardinal) using WPP (UK)
Dr Byte, is there any further news regarding this issue? Are we likely to have anything before the deadline of Jan 21st 2010? The apparent lack of activity is causing a lot of anxiety and concern.
A lot of customers in the UK use pre-pay Maestro cards for small internet purchases. Without a 3-d secure solution, most UK businesses that have built their shops with Zen Cart will be hit very hard.
Thank you

Any news?
Re: Implementing 3D Secure (Cardinal) using WPP (UK)
We're into January now, any news on 3D secure integration? If not, are there any third party solutions of any kind?
Re: Implementing 3D Secure (Cardinal) using WPP (UK)
Hi
It would appear paypal may have already started to implement this I have just had the following error
ALERT: PayPal Direct Payment Error (0 <!-- Approved: 12001-Transaction is not compliant due to missing or invalid 3D-secure authentication values -->
The customer has been told the transaction has been declined. However we have still received the funds but the order has not gone through to zencart.
Any info you have regarding when this is likely to be done would be great.
Many thanks
Rachel
Re: Implementing 3D Secure (Cardinal) using WPP (UK)
As the Paypal modules are integral parts of ZenCart, I guess we've all been waiting for the ZC dev team/Paypal crew to come up with the solution for UK users.
Any news we can pass on to our clients who are now losing sales?
