Want to disable categories link, with only subcategory links opening product pages

I have a store at http://www.linecasting.com

When someone clicks on a Category in the sidebar menu, the menu expands to show sub categories, and the page displays the Category page with sub category text links.

I want to disable the opening of the Category page, so that the customer has to click on the sub category link in the side bar menu to open a listing of the products under that sub category.

Is this possible? Any one any ideas please

Try going to the Configuration ... Product Listing ... and turn OFF the setting for:

Thanks Ajeh, that's nearly what I wanted.

I was hoping I could the navigation tree to expand on category click, without navigating to the Category page.

This has at least got me a stage closer

For that, you would need a customized javascript "accordion menu". There may be one available in Plugins; if not, there are many free ones on the Web which you would need to integrate into Zen Cart yourself.
