Thanks for the reply.
As above I have copied the folder & files inside the folder to my root directory, copied the install.sql file as instructed but the
Go to Admin->Configuration->Google Merchant Center
Does not appear on the configuration list so guessing I have not put the files in the correct directory/folder.
Do I ftp the folder or the files inside it
Where do I FTP them to
The rest seems straight forward once the module is installed but that is the bit I cannot seem to manage
Thanks

You copy over the CONTENTS of the "catalog" folder (what's INSIDE the folder), NOT the catalog folder. and you need to rename the admin and template folders to match your admin and template folder names..
Re: The NEW Google Merchant Thread - Version 1.12.0
Thanks again for your reply
The only folders/files in the catalog folder are
admin
feed
includes
module_version
YOUR_ADMIN
and
googlefroogle.php
there is no template folder to rename
in the google merchant download folder is
catalog
docs
sql updates
install
uninstall
update_1_12_4
update_1_13_0
am i missing something from the download?
Thanks
Re: The NEW Google Merchant Thread - Version 1.12.0
Dunno why you have a "YOUR_ADMIN" folder at all (it's not in the downloaded package), and it doesn't matter.. Regardless as to whether or not you have any template folders or not you need to RENAME THE ADMIN FOLDER to match your admin folder name and upload the CONTENTS of the catalog folder to wherever your store is located..

Also cannot rename the admin folder as it would be the same name as the OLD admin folder that is already there and you cannot have two folders with the same name in the same directory

You need to rename the YOUR_ADMIN folder to MATCH the name of the admin folder in your store. Then you need to upload the CONTENTS of the catalog folder to your store.

When I installed zen cart it tells you to rename the admin folder.
for example i named mine XYZ.
I cannot remane YOUR_ADMIN to XYZ as they are in the same place
Also the catalog contains a folder called includes which is also already in my root directory

YES YOU CAN!!! Oy!!!!
The folders names in the fileset are SUPPOSED TO MATCH the folder names in the store or when you upload the files needed for the add-on to work they will not be in the right locations..
Now please don't take this the wrong way, but you might want to consider paying someone to help you with this install. This is a straightforward install, but you seem to be having a bit of trouble with it. It might be worth it for you to consider having someone assist you with this install.

Thanks I think you may be right, all other mods installed no probs at all, just this one driving me nuts :frusty: :frusty: :frusty:
I just tried to copy them again but got error saying a files exists with that name already do you want to replace the existing file.
Obviously I dont want to replace it I want them both but will not let me if they have the same name.
This is what makes me think I am putting the files in the wrong place, I installed ZC in the root directory so need to put these files in the same place.
Thanks
