I've set up a new customer coupon that is e-mailed when someone creates an account.
Ihave it set ip as follows
Uses per Coupon [blank]
Uses per Customer [ 1 ]
is this correct since the coupons go out to everyone who creates an account?
Thanks

sorry for the dumb question but how do you setup a coupon code to be automatically sent in the welcome email when a customer creates an account?
After making the Discount Coupon ... go to the Configuration ... GV Coupons ... and set the Welcome Discount Coupon that is to be sent out with each new account created ...
thank you :)
I created my discount coupon in admin coupon. When I go to GV Coupons, I don't see anything containing to the coupon I created. What am I doing wrong. I'm trying to setup a coupon to be sent to the customer after they register. I'm also trying to setup one to send out a discount coupon after a customer make their first purchase. I'm lost with this.
Peek at:
You will see the coupon_id on the listing ... and when editing you will see a dropdown with the Coupon name ...Quote:

Ok I got my discount coupon sot up. When I do a test to see if it's working get the e-mail. When I open the e-mail it has a Redemption Code and a Gift Certificate code. Does this mean that there's 2 discounts being offered? Is this the way it suppose to do it? I just wanted to offer one discount coupon to use with first time purchases or offer a discount coupon for first time purchases and another one to use at the next visit to my web site. This is what it's ounding like it doing but the wording is not right.
