hey.. want to limit shipping to canada and usa only. so i created a zone and put canada and usa in it. now wen i try setting table rate with this shipping zone and try checkng out with either canada or usa or ne other address it shows "we are not shipping in your region at this time." but wen i put free shppng using same zone it works. please help me with this. this is urgent so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Make sure on the Zone that you defined the details correctly ...
What Version of Zen Cart?

i defined US & Canada all regions in the zone.
To create a Zone for US and Canada ...
Locations / Taxes ... Zone Definition ...
Click Insert and enter:
Zone Name: United States and Canada
Description: Shipping for US and CAD
Click Insert ...
Click Details ...
Click Insert ...
Country: United States
Zone: All Zones
Click Insert ...
Click Insert ...
Country: Canada
Zone: All Zones
Click Insert ...
You have now built a Zone for Shipping to only allow for all of the United States and all of Canada ...
Next edit your Shipping Module in the Modules ... Shipping ... and add this new Zone to it ...
i did same.. now except free shipping none of the other shipping is working... im getting frustrated pls help...Quote:

One quick question, if I only wanted US and Canada to show up in the dropdown, do I have to manually delete all the other countries in order to accomplish this?

So if you are just trying to limit something for Shipping, use the Zones ... this way Grandma in the UK can buy Tiny Tim that shinny new crutch and send it to him in the US ...
You can always add to the Create Account that you only ship to a limited area ...
