Where it say's Scarletvampire's Treasure in text ( a nav link) I want to put an image that retains the nav link.
This is currently linked to the site...if you make this image a gif and name it logo.gif and place it in includes/templates/Scarletvampire/images folder it should display - unless you have edited this out. You can then center it with the css

Where it says Tagline here I just want to use an image.
A different image than the one above?? not much space there - but I have not seen your images...Why not make it a single image? logo.gif
Re: Help with header stuff
Kobra
yep..one graphic can image can work thats fine.
So i delete the tagline here text and in the nav anchor put the image url yes?
What code form would this take?
Isn't there an issue doing this with search engines?
Thanks so much for your help.

Nav anchor??? one that existed or one that you added?
If named logo.gif as stated the code already exists just need the image - unless you have edited this???
Re: Help with header stuff
yeah logo seems to have been removed in the original template this is based on.
These div's are #nameWrapper and tagline Wrapper.
cheers

Re: Help with header stuff
Hi all
Ok...I've restored the logo components. Please look at http://www.scarletvampire.com/shop now.
How do I stop the logoWrapper div appearing in the taglineWrapper? See how the tagline runs off the logo and not below it. All the contents are too high because of this.
Thanks
SV
Re: Help with header stuff
From you view source
Code:
<!--bof-branding display-->
<div id="headerContent">
<div id="logoWrapper">
<div id="logo"><a href="http://scarletvampire.com/shop/"><img src="includes/templates/Scarletvampire/images/logo.gif" alt="Powered by Zen Cart :: The Art of E-Commerce" title=" Powered by Zen Cart :: The Art of E-Commerce " width="284" height="42" /></a></div>
What is in tpl_header.php
Code:
<!--bof-branding display-->
<div id="logoWrapper">
<div id="logo"><?php echo '<a href="' . HTTP_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . '">' . zen_image($template->get_template_dir(HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE, DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'images'). '/' . HEADER_LOGO_IMAGE, HEADER_ALT_TEXT) . '</a>'; ?></div>
Seems that there is an extra div in yours
Re: Help with header stuff
Hi kobra
Thanks for that. The extra div is in my tpl_header override file.
To get the logoWrapper restored i replaced the oringinal #namewrapper line in this file. All syntax either side appears the same as the backup i made.
Could it be a stylesheet thing. Its like its missing postitional stuff to stop it appearing in the same div....or is this a div syntax thing?
the header div has the background image.
Many many thanks.
Chris
