HTML & Text-Only - default to HTML.

Hi

I am trying to make the default mail HTML rather than Text-Only during the account creation in checkout.

There is a setting in includes/create_account.php which looks like it should do it but it doesnt seem to make any difference. :huh:

Anybody have any idea how this can be done?

It is in /includes/modules/create_account.php, or if you have custom template changes, possibly /includes/modules/YOUR_TEMPLATE/create_account.php.

Looks like this:

if (!isset($email_format)) $email_format = (ACCOUNT_EMAIL_PREFERENCE == '1' ? 'HTML' : 'TEXT');

Be sure to use the configuration setting in Configuration ... Customer Details ...

NOTE: I hate when sites try to force HTML on me ... I much prefer that defaults are TEXT in case I miss the setting ... :smile:
