Display customer account page after login

I am currently working on my second Zen Cart site. On the first one, after the user logs in, they go to their account management page. On the second one the user ends up at the store home page. I cannot see any differences in admin settings for these sites, so how do I make sure the user goes to the account page, or better still can I get them to go directly to shopping cart or checkout?

I have looked through all the forums and not found anything on this.

I really don't want the user going to the home page, because it is a completely custom store, only using the shopping cart.

My first site is using 1.3.9.b and the second 1.3.9.h.

Any help/advice appreciated!
