Increase product name for new product

ok, this one I can not find,
in setting up a new product how can I Increase product name for new product, needs to be longer ?

Go to phpMyAdmin and in the tables:
products_description
orders_products

you can increase the field by editing the field in the two tables ...

kinda understnad where your going, I am in there, just do not see orders_products,
will it be labeled products name somewhere ?

ok, found it, went from 48 to 64, but now the listing page is stopping it,
where is there a character max for the text field ?

If you look at your database, down the left side you will see the table names ...

You should see:
address_book
address_format
admin
etc
etc

further down you should see:
orders_products
products_description

click on one of those then click on:
Structure

you will see the list of field names and an EDIT or CHANGE on each row for the field names ...

found it :-) thx and updated to to 64 but in setting up the new product the products NAME
still will not let it go beyond, is it a max charater setting in the <input text max="32"> type setup ?

Check the file:
/admin/includes/configure.php

on the server and make sure you made the two changes to the correct database ...

yes, updated the correct DB :-) did I miss something maybe ?
can I put up a screen shot ?

Also note, the two tables are:
products_description
orders_products

that need to be changed ... little typo there ... :blush:

Is this where I could make sure my product name and model appear in the browser window. Right now, it appears as http://treasured-gifts-n-more.com/ze...products_id=77 as one example
