[Done v1.5.1] IPv6 error
If you try and access zencart website using their IPv6 address you get the following error:
1406 Data too long for column 'ip_address' at row 1
in:
[insert into whos_online (customer_id, full_name, session_id, ip_address, time_entry, time_last_click, last_page_url, host_address, user_agent) values ('0', '¥Guest', 'e6c295e8c48524a5c57e0cdf87634dfc', '200105579451528478', '1305113194', '1305113194', '/', '', 'Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/5.0; BOIE9;ENGB)')]
not a critical error it will be a few years before this could become a problem, but the fix is simple. I will change the ip_address field myself self as part of my setup but I would be good to get an official fix.

Re: IPv6 error
The question has to be (at this point in time) why would anyone try to access a site using an IPv6 style of ip address? It's a complete non-issue at the moment.
What is an issue is when we all run out of IP addresses under IPv4 - which is not far away. New IP blocks are running out fast, or have already run out.
If the "powers that be" (internet providers) don't get their a-s-s-e-s into gear and pronto and implement IPv6 asap then the Internet itself is going to be in deep s-h-y-t-e
