This may or may not help as I don't use this mod, but my rewrite rule is configured a little different. Maybe give it a try and see if it solves your problem.

I believe Janelle is talking about the Zen search function.
KP,
Without access to your server or admin, there's not much I can do. Are you still getting this error:
Warning: main(includes/reset_seo_cache.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No...
Both of these indicate not all of the mod has been removed. You'll need to go back file by file and be sure all the files are removed and that any files that were modified during the installation...
KP,
Your htaccess file appears to be modified for Ultimate SEO, not Simple SEO. Sorry for the obvious question, did you install Simple or Ultimate SEO?
The line shoud read:
RewriteBase /zencart/
As for your other question, I can't help you out, sorry.
The RewriteBase is the folder where Zen is installed. In your case, Zen is in the root folder so you would enter /
You're right, I was confusing the two. Sorry barricades, you're probably more confused than before.
This is the Zen contribution that creates a sitemap for google. This is what I'm using
...
It's still a good idea to register your stie map with Google. Why leave finding it to chance. No, you never really needed GsiteCrawler with a Zen cart. An old site of ours that was straight html,...
You've misunderstood one part of the process. :-)
You're not uploading a file to google. You are only telling google what file to use for your sitemap. The sitemap is just one file with links...
The Zen site map works just fine. Checkout the sample site in the very first post of this thread. The links within the site and are the re-written urls.
That's one of the great things about this...
I hate to be a 'me too' post but that's my thought exactly. The shorter the better.
I would agree with this as well. I don't see any benefit to including 'index' in the url and would also like the product/category id grouped at the end of the url.
Keep it up, I'm looking forward...
Is anybody running this on a live site?
Oh, is that what you were referring to?? I assumed you meant the SEo mod. It is the SEO mod thread. :-)
I went to see but the url in your sig is not using the mod. Is it on a different url?
That was my other interpretation of no new release. I was trying to be positive. :-)
I wish I could, but I'm no coder.
yellow1912,
Are you are a stable release yet? The new versions have been slower, which I interpret as a good sign.
Yes, that's more like it.
I like yourr suggestion in post #37. The link above does not seem to be using the shorter version at this point.
Check ou psot #25, it has the current download link and test site.
The new test site is at http://customtowelsunlimited.com/testing/ with the current version of SSU
The demo site now has alpha 2.3 installed.
And yes, the images are missing on purpose. It's just a test site. :-)
Yes, I've still got PHP 4. I downloaded/uploaded the file and it's working now. I removed the configure.php file because it was messing up the display.
I've found that when I click on an item,...
Okay, I did that and I do get error message. Unfortunately, they don't mean a whole lot to me.
I installed 2.3 on a clean install of Zen 1.3.8a and it's not working. All category and product pages come up blanket. The url displays but there is no page. The url is...
Were can I find the new version?
Looks straight forward. I'll install it and let you know how it goes.
Thanks.
Just sent you a PM.
