Update on the module issue....
I did a fresh install of the 1.5 version, and after all the time I spent doing that, the same problem was there which ruled out any issues with my old site software....

I have already started the re-install of the cart.
I just as well start from scratch while the site is new rather than fighting it. If it was something wrong when it was first set up it should fine...

I don't guess there is any other option available at this point.
It will take some time to get it done. I will post an update when it is done. :(

USPS is the only shipping option I run and is the only green radio button on the modules>shipping modules page.

Ceon URI mapping has been turned off.
I tried to checkout after that and it still shows the same error message.
I checked the cache logs and the same thing shows there too as before.
