    I'm only guessing but if your products are inside a category it will have to work that way or you will be creating problems down the road for yourself.

    Go to your phpMyAdmin click on search at the top, put in just Simple SEO in the search, tick all words, tick Select All and tick go. It should bring up two matches of it. Click on each and delete it...

    A lot of people who has installed ultimate SEO does have trouble uninstalling it. If your going to use this module you will have to.

    1. You can not run 2 different Seo URLs at the sametime.
    2. You have to uninstall one of them because it will not work.
    3. You have to have Module Manager installed before Simple will work.

    That doesn't look like Simple Seo URLs configurations settings. That looks more like Ultimate SEO URLs settings.

    The latest version is 3.8.8. You will need to update Module Manager also. 3.8.8 will not run on the old Module Manager. Check the links above to download the latest versions.

    Your .htaccess file is the file you create and need to go in the folder that it needs to control. You needs to make sure it is setup correctly. Some people don't or don't know how to set it up...

    If you following Ultimate SEO urls installation instructions and trying to install simple seo url it will not work. Are you trying to install Ultimate SEO urls or Simple Seo URL?

    One more thing if you want this module to work correctly you need to get rid of everything that deals with Ultimate SEO URLs. These two module will not work together. Either use one or the other.

    You can post your current .htaccess content here so we can take a look at it. A 404 error is most of the time cause by a .htaccess error.

    It can not be emphasize enough whenever you delete categories, delete products, when making changes to any URL'S to clear the cache right away under EXTRAS>Simple SEO URL's Manager.
