It has been a long time since I've been on here. Nice to see there are not a series of bug reports!
Just commenting that I have this running on 1.50 and PHP 5.3 with no issues.

Good info Joshua - thanks!
I thought I remembered (way back in the retired neurons part of the brain) that QBMS handled certain validation failures that way. Glad you clarified that definitively.
Interesting situation. One real key here is that your card has not been charged (contrary to your original post). That would have been of real concern. The message you are getting can ONLY be...
:smartass:
Now that's a fix! Nice updated post - and great way to deal with the Windows issue of verifying peers. I may add that as a commented line for windows users to a new interim release....
This is a very dangerous change. It has come up before in this thread and I DO NOT recommend anyone doing this. The reason that works is because you're stopping SSL cert validation (hence my original...
First of all - you should remove the connection ticket and other personal login information from your post. Not good at all to publish that info.
Second - for desktop, you should not have a pem...
Were you thinking of not using SSL to capture CC information? That would not be a good thing at all. You do not need to exchange keys with Intuit for "Desktop", but you do need a correct cert for...
Del - You don't really give enough data. Lots of things *could* be the issue.
1. Desktop is what you signed up for at Intuit right?
2. You got a production (not testing) setup at Intuit right?
...
Lee - yes, this module is a "Payment Module", in that it integrates with a credit card processing service. There is some work being done to sync with QB for order input (sales orders or sales...
Ah... Frustrating for you I'm sure, but probably a good lesson in attention to detail. :)
Just making 100% sure here. On CentOS (RHEL), you should have the curl-7.15.5 rpm and not libcurl. Is that correct? On the RHEL installs I have, curl-7.15.5-9.el5.rpm is the current one. I used to...
Oh - and quick FYI - I would not use OSC module as any kind of measure or benchmark for the QBMS module. Zen version was radically rewritten, much of which included security, input validation etc....
propni - First question is, which security model are you using? Desktop or Hosted? This module is really tested with desktop and not so much with "hosted" as few people use it (including me!).
...
Joshuagodinez - it is not dead, but remember that these modules are not "official" modules built by Zen Cart Development team. They are 3rd party modules supported by whoever writes them or takes...
Spdster - you need to log in to your merchant account center and enable "web". It's off by default. Wait 24 hrs for this to process, then try again.
Tracy,
If you got your connection ticket from IDN on the testing server, you will need to go back, log into IDN and create a new connection ticket on the production server. Then you can go live....
Thank you for the comments! And you are most welcome.
Glad the module is working - and even more glad the site is running smooth.
It is tested with 1.3.9d and is working fine.
Post to the QB thread if you have questions on its use.

Odd. Sorry, from here, unless I had console access to actually take a look at the files and configs - there's not much else I have in the way of troubleshooting suggestions....
Betty - it all looks fine (although I will say that the files in both my 1.3.8 and 1.3.9 directories are 644 permissions).
One additional quick question - silly, but have to check and make sure....
If this is still an issue - post more detail (version, error msg if any, info from admin order page etc.). Then can troubleshoot from there.
Canzy - I did not give specific code changes at that time. "Authorize/Capture" model - although it can make a lot of sense, turns out to be not so easy to implement securely and safely. There would...
Hi Betty -
Sorry for you not hearing back from anyone. This thread went very quiet for a while (a good thing!), and I only recently jumped back in to make sure there weren't 1.3.9 issues (I...
Most everyone is having success with this module - as far as I can tell. It it being used in production at numerous high volume sites. That particular result you are seeing is part of "duplicate...
baltimucho - I think you may have gone down the wrong path. I just checked and the screens look the same to me. The screen you show there is to get an application listed in the "approved...
Sorry Seve F - Bit of sarcasm on my part (totally uncalled for I might add! :)
What exactly is the wording? That is not an error that the module would produce, unless it is an error stating that...
Hmmm... by any chance were you using the same card multiple times in a short period?
If I understand your question correctly, then no - QBMS does not capture shipping address or invoice information within their records. Just name, address, etc. needed for Address Verification and CVV...
brodprop - check earlier discussion of this topic in this thread. The possibility of creating an option within the addon to "authorize", then capture later via qbms site exists but is not trivially...
Noticed you are 1.3.6 --- you should update to 1.3.8a. Module is known to work on 1.3.8.
Making sure of the obvious first. This is not a test account but a production account yes? And in the module setup you have testing set to false right?
Worth a look - but I believe that part of the order system is not part of the payment module, but rather part of the Zen core files. As a rule, I have avoided any changes to Zen files...
The subject of "Authorize" vs "Charge" was discussed earlier in the thread. It is possible, but it is not that simple to do. I looked at it briefly and decided that it would require not just one or...
You cannot do that. If you set "Testing" to true, then it is going to the test environment (different gateway), and you must use a test account set up for that environment. When you set testing to...
It's not clear what problem you're having. Status code "0" is what is supposed to happen. Are you still in "testing" mode? Did you change the setting in admin to production first? What do you mean by...
Use the following link - which can be found on IDN:

All users of QuickBooks Merchant Services should upgrade to the 1.9a version of the addon. Numerous updates, enhancements and bug fixes incorporated. See changelog for details.
Post comments or...
Excellent! QBMS 1.9a posting up which incorporates these fixes.
FIX: Verify and crop address, zip and name on card data to be absolutely compliant with QBMS gateway XML requirements. Prevents...
This should be pretty quick and easy. I'll take you up on your testing offer. I will send you a link in PM for you to d/l and verify it all works. Then can publish.
Styleboy - THANK YOU for the PM. And thank you for the detailed answers. Your quick data helped determine that this is in fact an issue! And it will be fixed immediately. While I included all sorts...
Can you quickly provide the address line 1 and line 2 examples of what does process and what generates the error?
Now we may be getting somewhere. The merchant service company tries to verify street address (line 1 of the address). In fact - line 2 is ignored entirely. So what is put in there is of no...
OK - if by "most recent version" you mean 1.9 then the following information would be needed:
What are the 3 credit cards? (Visa, MC Amex etc.)
What specifically is the 3rd card that fails?
What...
First, and most important, what version of QBMS module are you running? The AVS/CVV checking and return code handling has been modified a lot in recent versions.
NEW VERSION QBMS 1.9
(Includes important bug fix. All users encouraged to update to latest version.)
v 1.9 -- 09/05/09
- Optimized duplicate search so that large db's do not get impacted by...
This is the thread you need. The QBMS module is very stable. New version with new, more detailed, error reporting coming this weekend.

Quick reality check for all credit card module users. PLEASE be very careful "hacking" these modules (QBMS or any other). It's one thing to hack and play with a skin, or display modules etc., and...
kwes00 - In my opinion, that is a big (very big) mistake. Do you understand what changing those settings does? Remember - you are sending customer credit card information. I would be very careful of...
This is the time for QBMS users to weigh in. There are two approaches to how QBMS handles "duplicate transactions", and I would like feedback - if any - on what users here think. The next release,...
This is done - please see your PM for details. Cheers!
