to change the page background (the part OUTSIDE the main body of the store) look at the body section in the style sheet... change the following value to what color you want or add an image as shown...

Nooo... "your_template" is a placeholder name... You need to rename it to whatever template name you are currently using in zen-cart..... whether it's "default_template" or "simple_zen" or whatever...
