Any follow up to this. I'm having a problem with animated gifs also.

I reset them all to 0 (through a simple mysql query) and it fixed all the products. The attribute prices still seem to be working but I'm sure we'll test it out thoroughly.

Looks like the "price by attributes" is causing the problem. Set that to '1' ...which I do by default since I have attributes with prices...and it doesn't take the sales price.

Slowly moved over db table by table. I moved all tables over except 'products' and 'specials'...and everything works. If...

Used admin to enter all products.

There were minor modifications done to acheive the look, but functionality...

All specials have expires_date and specials_date_available = 0001-01-01

They all have Green status in the Specials section of admin.
