Hi there, I was wondering if your module was backwards compatible with 1.3.8a?

I am afraid to upgrade as everytime I have it has broken my site. Database not compatible every time.

The upgrade for 1.3.7 to 1.3.8a. I had to reinstall it back to 1.3.7 in order for it to retain the info from the database. When I try the upgrade option it doesn't work.

If you have root level access to the directory the install files are in, right-click them and select 'read-only' on their properties for these two files.

In the name of your site on the install page did you use any apostrophes in it? Zen Cart seems to have some issues loading some characters and all you get is a blank page if you use "My Site's Cart"...
