You can use excel to input the info into EP format. I always open the .txt files with Excel because it's easier to work with. The file just has to be saved as a .txt file before you can import it.

In Admin, go to Configuration > Layout Settings. About the fourth one down is the breadcrumbs thing. Set it to off if you don't want to use it, or "2= Off for Home Page Only" to have just that...
