It still works the same as ever for me using Paypal standard or authorize.net

Well USPS autofill replaces the "admin/orders.php" file. If you are using superorders, you aren't using that file.
There is an included version for superorders as well. But if you already have the...
technically it is a bug, but really the code uses the "name" parameter anyway. The id isn't used
I used it last night without problem. Printed 10 labels, 2 were even international.
Don't think so. Last I tried, it still required an "error scenario" to work. I did think about creating my own standalone interface using the USPS API for shipping. This way it could support other...
And you have a intentional mistake set in your settings right? Something like setting the zip code to other and leaving it all 00000... or setting the email address to have an invalid character?
getting the error on your site? or on the usps website?
are you still having a problem with this?
Webtools is completely separate from click-n-ship. You need a clicknship account
You appear to have not uploaded the totalweight function file. be sure you upload all files to their corresponding locations
You match the structure.
On your site you have:
admin
includes
images
etc
in the zip file the structure is the same:
admin
includes
You are referring to the USPS XML quote shipping module. This has nothing to do with that. That is a shipping module that is used when the customer is checking out. This is an admin tool used to take...
hmm.. not sure I understand.
When you get an account, there is no live/test server. Its not the same thing the webtools account. Its a simple label creation page.
1. Enter Address (which is done...
say wha?
This contrib is not based on xml API. This is just a frontend hack for Click-n-ship.
You just need a Click-n-ship account. Not a webtools account.
Good to hear. Thanks for the donation ! :)
Try the one I uploaded to the DL section:
http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?main_page=product_contrib_info&products_id=285
Replace only the admin/includes/modules/usps_autofill_button.php file.
I am also running 1.3.7 and it works for me.
OK I figured it out. In fact it may have been the cause of the initial "error" on form load. When they added the new Express hold checkbox, they finally had another non-default value for the submit...
No. The shipping date just defaults to the current date if not specified. On my test form that I got working, it doesn't have it either.
I should have a fix by tomorrow.
Ok Ok everyone calm down. I've got a test form working again and I just need to find out which new field is "required" to not trigger the error.
Stay tuned. We will prevail!
Grrrr. Why must usps keep touching things and breaking them! There should be a law!
I'll take a look
Ahh yes. I never updated the sql to be MySql 5 compliant. '' has been replaced by NULL for MySql5. Good find.
Are you using a prefix on your database tables? If you are you need to edit the sql file and add the prefix to each table call (IIRC)
so
INSERT INTO configuration_group VALUES ('', 'USPS...
Remove excess means to change the name from "orders.php_usps_only" to "orders.php" then overwrite your existing admin/orders.php file.
That alone should add the physical button. Now make sure that...
Ah ok, didnt know that existed. Sounds like you tried to merge them but missed something. Can you paste your orders.php code here or in a PM to me
What is FShip?
They should both work exactly the same. They do for everyone else.
Do you have any customizations to your orders.php page? (like Info at a glance or any other contribs?)
And you're sure you've overwritten/replaced your admin/orders.php file?
And you're sure you've added the admin/includes/modules/usps_autofill_button.php?
The button is in the orders.php file and...
Do you have any special zones set up? I noticed above you said International addresses work too. So Int'l & NY only work? What do you see when you try other states?
When you say NY works, was it...
Yes it will. follow the structure for the correct version
Nope :) Do you see 0 for total weight on the order page? or do you not see the order weight information at all?
Yes, I too contacted USPS for assistance, but I got a reply stating something about "we do not condone the use of third-party interfaces with click-n-ship. Doing so may be illegal and we will forward...
Can you give me a screen shot of what you are describing? I really still don't understand... but I've never tested it without a shipping address
I'm not sure I understand. You want to "fix" a little red dot on the order list page because you don't like it? The red dot is not a feature of USPS. It is a feature of Zen-Cart.
You can use no email but still check yes to cause an error. or use a letter in place of a number for weight. Basically any error will make the form work right, doesn't have to be related to the email...
Haven't tried it set to false, but its possible they are just assuming that if you enter your email, you must want it.
Usually when there is a file in the zip that is named "IMPORTANT_README.TXT" you would want to read that right?:P
Sounds Great!
you are sure you have no email address in the "Return: Tracking Email" and the "Return: Tracking Notify via Email (checkbox)" set to true? Based on what Linksys found, you have to fool the form by...
Well done link :)
Sounds like you are in the Quality Assurance business! (me too) :D
you are using the latest version?
It should be labeled "Return: Tracking Email".
The 9th item down.
I wonder how USPS could have broken that. I tried adding an escape '\' character before the @ but it copies the whole thing, including the '\'. But sure enough that seems to be the culprit for me....
aha! Eloi you beautiful genius. That fixed it for me! I removed my value for "Return: Tracking Email" and it worked.
Well as a side step, I've been trying to use the iMacros FF Extension to create a macro that can read "data" from one site and populate it into a form.
It looks like it should work pretty good...
I am also using 1.3.7.1. There are also no differences in the module file for usps autofill contrib. Only the admin/orders.php file.
Thanks for the update Kehril, I have still unfortunately not be able to get any labels sent successfully with the contrib.. tried diff browsers on diff pc's and tried clearing the cache.. but no...
I know what you are saying. I was confused for a while with that too. Actually, lableinformation.do only redirects you to the sign on page if you aren't signed in or don't pass any valid parameters....
There's a FF version for PC, Mac, & Linux. :)
Same here, still not working. And you are right about those fields, it was lucky that they even worked to begin with when I first made it. I do hope tho that they stop it. :P I am going to contact...
Well I don't see anything new in their source code, but I am seeing the error as well. Might just be a maintenance thing they are doing, but I'll keep looking.
