How to move ZENCART to the parent Directory

I was testing zen cart and i created a folder called zen

so to get to the website you would type http://www.<website>.com/zen/


Can i move all the files to the Parent / Root Directory?

So when I type in http://www.<website>.com/ it goes to the right pages?

I didn't want to move it unless I checked with someone.

I checked the website and someone said I have to edit 2 configure.php files.
Does anyone know the path?

Here's what I did:

I took the Zen Directories and copied them to the root.

Located the file: /includes/configure.php change everything that said

'/zen/' to '/'


Next file: /admin/includes/configure.php

'/zen/admin/' to '/admin/'

They recommend you rename the admin directory.

Now I haven't done anything with permissions. Because I set all that when I first installed this.

I'm going to do some testing and see if the permissions stayed when i copied over. Unless someone wants to just let me know. :)
