moving to new host, getting a db_cache error after importing database

I've followed the directions here
and after I import the backed-up database from the old host, I get this error when trying to access the site:
1146 Table 'ltkmama_zencart.zencart_db_cache' doesn't exist
in:
[db_cache table]

Any ideas on what the problem might be? I'm lost!

That is alot of prefix on a table

I would check your db table names - specifically for the db_cache one

It is most likely zencart_db_cache

The part of the prefix before the "." is the name of your database.
Thus, it seems your store is set up to look at tables using "zencart_" as the DB_PREFIX setting.
Is that what your configure.php files contained on your old host?

Are you sure that your database import completed without errors?

excellent! It's fixed - the DB-prefix should have been zencart not zencart_
