Installation

In the first chapter of the Zen Cart book it goes over the installation of ZC on my PC. However, I have a host and my store's url is with the host. Am I correct to assume that I'm fine since I have my zc store with a host and I should ignore the section in the book about installing it to my PC? Thank you

It appears from your previous posts that you have ZenCart already installed on your hosting account.

At this point, I suggest focusing on the modifications and installation of the modules (such as shipping/payment, etc...)

I also suggest that you familiarize yourself with the process of setting up ZenCart on your PC so when you are ready to do upgrades, you understand how this function works and thus make the upgrade process smoother and easier for yourself.
