Default Problems with Authorize.net sync with my store

    www.krazykingsoftoys.com

I'm using the Authorize.net (AIM) Payment module. I have a few questions.

    1) My friend bought an item off my site and she used a MasterCard Gift Card. It accepted it the problem is that I never got the payment on my Authorize.net account under transaction details.

This is how I have the module set up:

    Enable Authorize.net (AIM) Module
Do you want to accept Authorize.net payments via the AIM Method?

    (True)

    Login ID
The API Login ID used for the Authorize.net service

(Got this from my Authorize.net account)

    Transaction Key
Transaction Key used for encrypting TP data
(See your Authorizenet Account->Security Settings->API Login ID and Transaction Key for details.)

(Got this from my Authorize.net account never changed)

    MD5 Hash
Encryption key used for validating received transaction data

(Made one on my Authorize.net account never changed)

    Transaction Mode
Transaction mode used for processing orders

    Production

    Authorization Type
Do you want submitted credit card transactions to be authorized only, or authorized and captured?

(Authorize) I have this set to this but I was wondering if this could effect the reason why it didn't go through.

    Enable Database Storage
Do you want to save the gateway communications data to the database?

    (True)

    Customer Notifications
Should Authorize.Net email a receipt to the customer?

    (True)

    Merchant Notifications
Should Authorize.Net email a receipt to the merchant?

    (True)

    Request CVV Number
Do you want to ask the customer for the card's CVV number

    (True)

    Sort order of display.
Sort order of display. Lowest is displayed first.

    0

    Payment Zone
If a zone is selected, only enable this payment method for that zone.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? I have set to Ohio or should it be set to -none-

    Set Completed Order Status
Set the status of orders made with this payment module to this value

    (defualt)

    Set Refunded Order Status
Set the status of refunded orders to this value

    (default)

    Debug Mode
Would you like to enable debug mode? A complete detailed log of failed transactions may be emailed to the store owner.

    Log and Email

Why are the orders not syncing to Authorize.net or what do I have to do on Authorize.net/Zen-Cart to set this up correctly?

If the module is set to "authorize", then you need to manually "capture" the payment using your Authorize.net merchant console on their website.

Authorizations are good for 30 days, allowing you time to process and ship the order before charging the card.

To "capture" an authorize-only transaction, you log in to your Authorize.net account console,
Then in your menu you have a link to "Unsettled Transactions" -- click on it.
Now you'll see all the transactions that have not yet been settled.
If you click on a transaction, you can do the capture on the next screen.

Hello, can you tell me if the Authorize.net AIM option of "Store the Credit Card Number" wll store the credit card number in my Zen Cart store or in the Authorize.net system (for future billing of the customer)?

    Thanks in advance.

No, it does not store the number for future billing. You'll need to re-collect the information from the customer the next time you want to charge them.
The AIM module in the 1.3.x versions of Zen Cart does not support recurring billing at this time.
