    Default Purchased a template and I want 100% width

    Greetings everyone,

    I just signed up and I've been reading up a lot here. I happened to purchase a zen cart template and I've got it running. Problem is... I'm not getting the page to cover the whole screen. Is there a fix to this? I'm familiar with editing files so please let me know. Thanks.

    What is the url? If we can see it we can offer suggestions to help you.

    Thanks,

    Tina is right, if you could always post a URL to the problematic site, we can see and help sooooooooo much better.

    In your case, though, this is an easy one. In your includes/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/css/stylesheet.css , find the #mainWrapper part of the code, and edit the width there.

    Hope this helps.

    Yea, good point. Best to just have the URL.

    Near the bottom of your stylesheet, you have a .main { width:725px; margin:auto;}

    You may need to set that width to 100%.

    Ditto what stevesh suggests but you will most likely find that many elements in this template are not "fluid" and the result will not be what you expect

    This looks to be a Template Monster Template or one written by and resold under another name.

    What they do not tell you is you get what you see and all features configurable in Zen Cart are not available.

    You either like it the way it is or roll up your slevees and re-code the whole #$!!^%$# thing.

    Search this site for template monster and see the issues
