Text on Checkout page above express checkout

I am getting the following text showing in my shopping cart above the checkout with Paypal button.

TEXT_PAYPAL_EXPRESS_OFFERTEXT_PAYPAL_EXPRESS_NOTE

I am aware that these must be two text fields that need to be defined.

TEXT_PAYPAL_EXPRESS_OFFER
TEXT_PAYPAL_EXPRESS_NOTE

Where should they be defined and what is supposed to be defined in them.

I have spent hours trying to resolve this, help appreciated.

Have you searched for text_paypal in the Developers Tool Kit?

I know this thread is old, but I'm going to add a comment because the problem still exists.

I had the same issue. In my case it looks like my template tries to print those fields but the definitions of those fields don't exist anywhere.

I never had the problem before because I never used Paypal Express before so that part of the code wasn't hit.

So I'm just going to comment out the line that tries to display those fields in tpl_shopping_cart_default.php.
