Zip Codes for Guam, Puerto Rico & the Virgin Islands

Hello,

I am trying to configure my shipping module and I am setting up specific zones according to zip code (1st 3 numbers of zip only). I have all of the contiguous 48 States done but I am curious about Guam, Puerto Rico & the Virgin Islands. The information I have found indicates the following zip codes for them:

Guam starts with 969
Puerto Rico starts with 006-007 & 009
Virgin Islands starts with 008


For my US zones I have done the following:
US:900-908,US:910-918,US:919-921,US:922-928,US:930-935 (zone 2)
US:863-864,US:889-891,US:936-939 (zone 3)
etc.

My question is this:

Can I use the same format for Guam, PR & VI?

Such as:
US:969 (Guam)
US:006-007,US:009 (PR)
US:008 (VI)

Obviously I do not include the (zone 3), (Guam), (PR), etc. Just the codes in red.

Honestly, nobody has a clue if this will work or not? There has to be somebody that has done this. Anyone?
