    Default Help lost all my products & catagorys in the admin

    What a day it has been I tried to installl the drop down menu box for my site and ended up messing the whole thing up I had to re-install zencart again from scratch. after doing this I entered in the info for the mysql database I had all my products on once I did this all the products showed up on my site but when I go into the admin section under catalog and products the section is blank I can not add any more products or catagorys. how do I get the admin to find all my catagory and products.

    Default importing mysql database into reinstall

    What a day it has been I tried to installl the drop down menu box for my site and ended up messing the whole thing up I had to re-install zencart again from scratch. after doing this I entered in the info for the mysql database that I had all my products on. Once I did this all the products showed up on my site but when I go into the admin section under catalog and products the section is blank I can not add any more products or catagorys. how do I get the admin to find all my catagory and products. as of right now I can not add any new products or catagories nor can I find them in the admin.

    I suggest that you check your admin files and make sure that you uploaded all of them.

    You probably have the wrong database information in your admin "configure.php" file.

    Default imorted products with mysql not showing up in the admin

    Please help I believe someone erased my post yesterday, I had avery long day yesterday first I tried to upload the css drop down menu app and completely messed up my site. I had to start a fresh and re-load zen cart from scratch. after installing and customizing I point the configuration.php to my old mysql datbase. everything seemed well all my products and catagorys showed up on the site BUT DID NOT SHOW UP IN THE ADMIN The admin/catagory and products is blank no catagory no products. if I try to add new catagorys or products they are not showing up in my site. does any body know what is going on...




    Please help.

    I have installed 1.3.9h no addons no customization and put the older data base from an eariler version 2.8 into it and had the same problem where the catagories ect.. appear in my main site but not the admin. I have checked the config file in the admin and it is the right database. Not sure what else to check. http://republicvsdemocracy.org/newstore/
