    Default Major header problem

    Hi,

    I have a major problem with my header. If I go to one of the longer pages (the ones you can scroll down in) when I do scroll down my header jumps about 200 px down leaving an empty gap above the header.

    I really don't know why it's doing that. Can anyone with more brains than me please check it out. This is a good page to see the problem, on first load it's normal until you scroll down and than back [urlhttp://www.ad-mineraal.nl/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_95_2[/url]

    Thank you in advance!

    You did not state what Zen Cart version you have installed???

    1.3.8a is most current and assuming that this is what you are using then your style sheet is out of date

    Yours:
    @version $Id: stylesheet.css 5347 2006-12-22 20:26:09Z birdbrain $
    Most recent:
    @version $Id: stylesheet.css 5952 2007-03-03 06:18:46Z drbyte $
    Using interactive tools - replacing yours with the most recent seems to solve the issue.

    Try merging your settings into a later stylesheet as there were some differences

    Nice site BTW

    Thanks Kobra.

    I'm sorry I did not state the version. I'm using 1.37 because it's currently the only one with a dutch languagepack. I've been thinking on writing a dutch language pack for 1.38 but I've been very busy.

    I'm not totally sure what you mean with interactive tools? Sorry english is not my native language.

    I found out that IH is part of the problem. By uninstalling it the effect goes away. Unfortunatly I really like IH but I will try one of the other mods that do something similair.

    IH will cause your page to jump if you don't place one of the mod files in your "custom" template folder. I can't think of the file that is required, but if you search the IH support thread you'll find it (I think it's the js file - but don't hold me to it!)

    Thank you, but I had already checked that and fixed it. I really don't know what to do with it. I'll guess I just have to leave IH out of it for now.

    Hi, in Firefox when I click on one of the input areas, like the search or to type registration info, the box turns black and I can't see what I am typing, might want to remove this section in your stylesheet:

    input:focus, select:focus, textarea:focus {
    background: #000000;
    }

    or either add a color for the font or make the background color lighter :)

    You can use IH to add extra images etc. but you need to turn of zoom small images, that solves the problem of the page jumping down.

    I am having an issue with my header but it has to do with flash as well. I have a flash header at the top of my page and I have it extremely long to fit multiple size resolutions and for the most part it works however I am still seeing some black space at the top, bottom, and sides of it with certain resolutions. Is there anyway to take care of this. I have an image that displays on all the pages except home and category pages and the image looks great. No space around the image at all. How can i get this to work with the flash? Does anyone know?
