    Default authorize.net and ZenCArt 1.3.7

    Here's a tough one.

    I have 1.3.7 installed for my first Zencart Customer. Everyone els eI am using 1.3.8.

    Everyone else gets paid using Authorize.net. The Merchant account fo www.american-health-foods.com/catalog - will not release his funds - over $1,000 because he says Zencart is NOT secure.

    If you go to that site and create a test account and try to purchase something in step tow you will get the generic credit card info page that is the default for ZenCart. This is NOT an https page so the merchant won't relese the funds.

    Now go to one of my sites - www.naturalvitaminz.com and create a test user and at step three you are shown how to pay, but do NOT add any private information - at step three you get sent to https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll

    If you do the same at www.needleartsofgeorgetown.com The same thing happens except you get sent to PayPal's SSL site.

    From what I can tell the Payment Modules are identical. Authorize.net says the payment Module SIM is NOT configured correctly.

    THE ONLY THIN I CAN THINK OF IS THE VERSIONS OF ZENCART ARE DIFFERENT.

    Can anyone help?

    - "NO" AIM is NOT an option, because I have proven that SIM works. In fact all of American-health-foods.com transactions are running fine.

    Thanks in advance.

    You will need to add this line of code in to your configuration file (config.php or configuration.php usually)

    define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://secure.hostmonster.com/~allenlen/american-health-foods');

    // Use secure webserver for checkout procedure?
    define('ENABLE_SSL', 'true');

    So, are you saying you've fixed the problem you had?

    Keep in mind that the SIM module was overhauled for v1.3.8. Prior to that it was flaky.

    You might find that if you *did* switch to AIM and thus collect CC details directly on the shopping cart site that your sales may increase, simply because the shopping experience is seamless ... no sudden surprises, meaning fewer abandonned carts.
