Autoresponder+ for ZC v1.3.x [support thread]

Steven. The order status update after emailling don't work for me.

I defined a few order status. 6 is tracing (for asking whether the customers get the pacakge), 7 is dispached (changed to dispached after ship the pacakge). dispached after 21 days, Autoresponder will send a email to asking the customers whether get the package, then the order status change to 6(tracing) after emailing. After 14 days, Autoresponder will change the order status to 3(delivered) from 6(tracing) after send a email to the customers for asking for a products reviews

But Autoresponder don't send any email and change the order status. Could you help me?

I think you mean "21 days after dispatched"?

Okay so you need to set up 2 emails:

FIRST EMAIL:
Order Status ID = 7
Post Order Status ID = 6
Days After = 21

SECOND EMAIL:
Order Status ID = 6
Post Order Status ID = 3
Days After = 14

Is that right?

Shouldn't you have dispatched as 6 and tracing as 7? Then it would mostly be in the correct order.

You said that the order status update feature doesn't work. Then you said it doesn't send out emails either.

Which is it? What's working and not working?

I just installed autoresponder 2.3 on zencart 1.3.8a and I am having problems with HTML emails - messages seems to contain no HTML at all. I harcoded autoresponder.php to force HTML messages to all recepients but email template is not event coming thorugh - all I get is just the simple text from HTML text area - no links, not tags, no template.

any insights?

Dee,

I'm afraid I don't fully understand how Zen Cart sends out plain vs html emails.

I think it's one of the few things that Autoresponder+ is missing - full control over the email type.

Hopefully it can be added at some point, but probably not by me.

Seven. That's right. I have set up 2 emails as you said. Should i have dispatched as 6 and tracing as 7?
I set up a email to send out preview request, it works.
Just the order status update feature doesn't work and it doesn't send out emails either.

Hello.. I just installed Autoresponder on a new site I am developing.. The install went smoothly and everything seemed fine.. When I run the autoresponder.php I get the Autoresponder successfully loaded.. Yet I do not get the emails.. I am in test mode.. I have a completed order 2 days ago and have the "Days After set to 1 day.. I also turned on logging and no log is being created..

Do you care to tell how you fixed this? I am having the same problem.

I have a few custom mods and super orders. Install was simple, drag.n.drop via ftp. - no overwrites.

SQL gave the following message:

8 statements processed.
ERROR: Cannot insert configuration_key "" because it already exists
Note: 1 statements ignored. See "upgrade_exceptions" table for additional details.

and my admin page to access autoresponder+ is blank other than these two lines:

Autoresponder+
Title Value Action

I have read the thread and am not sure where to go from here... ideas?

I am guessing the info is in my error code but I do not know what it means. I saved the entire sql query return message, let me know if that would help :-)

OK... thought I read the entire thread... sorry about that. I have read and re-read now. Thanks for your patience and assistance.

I went in and changed the blank value in my configuration table configuration_key to blank_value in case I needed to change it back easily... LOL

and I re-ran the query from the store (I have DB prefixes, so that usually works better for me) and....

IT WORKS!!!

Now to figure out how to donate... :-)
