Autoresponder+ for ZC v1.3.x [support thread]

I read in the beginning of this thread request for sending emails after the customer place the order, I wondering if you ever were able to code this mod to send email to customer after they place the order.
I think this would be a great additional if the store owner was able to follow up with the customer a few weeks after the order.
In my case I want to be able to send the customer an email a week or two after I ship the item to follow up on the order and maybe request a Testimonial or a Review for the product they bought.

A lot of people forget to come back to the store and leave testimonial or reviews for the product so this would be a quick reminder.

Do you have any plans for adding such function?

Hi at the moment I don't have any plans to include product details in the emails. I think it would require a lot of work to do this feature properly, and unfortunately I have other projects to focus on. If anyone wants to add this feature, they're more than welcome to do so.

I am unable to get the mod to send a e-mail in test mode i follow the instruction and i ausing zen cart 1.3.8 and the version of the mod downloaded from the download section

What appears in the log?
Do you have the mod enabled?
Do you have the relevant preset enabled?
Have you got the 'Days After' set correctly?
Does the order's status ID match?
Make sure 'Subscribed' is set to false
Make sure there are no location restrictions or time validation
Are all other emails working correctly (e.g. contact form)?

OK i changed that to false

Ok got it to send in test mode, one of the setting you recommended to changed worked

Okay, was it that you had the presets disabled? If so, that would indicate why a log wasn't created.

The only thing i changed was:
Make sure 'Subscribed' is set to false
OK i changed that to false

I check the log location and one still was not created.

So i am guessing that if subscribed set to true it doesn't work? , or was it because admin email is not a subscriber?

It might be that the path you specified is incorrect, or the directory has not been given write permissions (e.g. 777). Before checking those things, just try refresh your ftp program whilst inside the log directory and the log might show up.

The email address which is checked for subscription is that of the customer. So it's probable that for the order you're working with, that customer is not subscribed to the newsletter.
