1054 Unknown column 'p.zen_order_id' in 'where clause'

I set my set up with Zen Cart several months ago and was surprised at how much easier it was than I expected. The customization took some time, but I found the documentation rather straight forward if I took my time.

I'm currently using version 1.3.6 and had my first order a few days ago. I'm using Paypal IPN and the money transfered to my Paypal account, but I got nothing telling me what the individual ordered. I did some snooping and found this error in the Paypal IPN link under Customers:

1054 Unknown column 'p.zen_order_id' in 'where clause'
in:
[select count(*) as total from paypal as p, orders as o where o.orders_id = p.zen_order_id and p.payment_status = 'Pending']
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

I did a search on the error, but came up with nothing. Any ideas on what's wrong or how I can fix it? I was told it was a data base error, but I'm not a data base guy so...

That error is indicative of using files from different versions.....

Hhmmm... I've only installed one, but stranger things have happened. So am I correct in assuming that an upgrade will correct the problem?

Thanks, I did a search using just 1054 and another using the full entry above but got no hits on either. I guess I should have kept trying. I guess I'll have to upgrade to fix the problem. Much appreciated!
