Default How do I control autocomplete caching at field level?

I need to ensure the browser doesn't cache the credit card details. i.e. selected fields on the screen must not be cached.

    How is this done?

    Many Thanks
    Maureen.

Found something about caching- but this only seems to work in IE. FF still caches these fields.

    Any advice anyone?
